This extension to a private lodge in the Madikwe reserve is a combination of contemporary, urban living and subtle safari and bush references. Working with the clean lines of the architecture, Sumari Krige, created a scheme that accentuates the sense of easygoing, contemporary living ensuring a sense of comfort remained key.

ATHOLPLACE BOUTIQUE HOTEL

The owners of this old Saxonwold family home decided they wanted the house gutted and completely refurbished. Bar one or two items that belonged to the owners, this is a La Grange showcase – from the furniture through to the fittings and the perfect snapshot of the versatility and extent of La Grange furniture and smaller items.
